Why we do what we do

Sankoshi is giving women in Rwanda a chance to have economic freedom, liberation and independence. 

As Maimonides would have said had he been a feminist: 

‘Give a woman a fish and you feed her for a day. Teach a woman to fish and you feed her for a lifetime.’

But in this case the woman won’t only feed herself but her whole household and this will create the opportunity for Rwandan street children to reunite with their mothers and to have the childhood every child deserves to have.
